DMCA Policy Overview

YTDownSaver respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. The service is designed for lawful use with public content and does not operate as a public video hosting library.

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe the service is being used in a way that infringes your rights, you can send a copyright notice for review.

Please note: YTDownSaver generally processes user-submitted URLs temporarily. We do not control YouTube, remove videos from YouTube, or manage creator channels. For content hosted on YouTube, you may also need to contact YouTube directly.

Before You Submit a Notice

Make sure your request identifies a specific copyrighted work and a specific issue related to YTDownSaver. A general complaint about YouTube content may not be enough for us to locate or evaluate the concern.

Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent should submit a copyright notice. False or mistaken claims may have legal consequences.

What Your DMCA Notice Should Include

To help us review the request, include the following details:

  1. Your full legal name or the name of the rights-holding organization.
  2. Your contact email address.
  3. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  4. The specific URL or information needed to identify the material or use in question.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature.

How We Review Notices

After receiving a complete notice, we may review the information, request clarification, restrict access to relevant functionality, remove references where applicable, or take other reasonable action. The exact response depends on the nature of the request and what we can technically control.

Incomplete notices may take longer to review because we may not have enough information to identify the issue.

Counter Notices

If you believe material or access was restricted because of a mistake or misidentification, you may contact us with a counter-notice. Include your contact information, the material involved, a statement explaining why you believe the action was mistaken, and any legally required statements for your location.

Repeat Infringement and Abuse

We may limit or block abusive requests, automated abuse, or repeated misuse of the service. We may also reject notices that appear fraudulent, incomplete, unrelated to YTDownSaver, or submitted in bad faith.
